There is a course designed to give an insight to any potential Restaurant/Bar purchaser.
The course is designed for the people who are thinking of buying a bar in Spain and wish to combine a ‘fact finding’ opportunity with a holiday.
Two very good friends of mine – Michael & Karen will give you the opportunity to a ‘Hands On’ experience of helping to run a bar and gaining the valuable experience needed before taking the plunge.
This is why they call it TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.
This is a golden opportunity and an insight of the ‘good & not so good’ with all aspects of running a bar.
If you are deliberating and are just thinking of taking the plunge, then STOP.
By joining in on the course you will glean valuable experience and information whereby at the end, you may well think ‘THIS IS NOT FOR YOU’ and therefore could save you a lot of money.
On the other hand, at the end of the course you will have learned an awful lot that will stand you in good stead for - if and when you go ahead and open your very own Spanish Bar.
THE COURSE
Day 1:
A tour of Benalmadena and the surrounding areas so you can
familiarise yourself and revisit in your own time.
Then onto ‘Corks Bar’ for the
4 days of ‘Hands On’ experience.
Day 2
At The Bar from 10am. to 2 pm.
To work along side of Michael on what is known
as ‘Front of House’ ie. behind the Bar – in the Bar
and on the Terrace.
Day 3
In The Kitchen from 10am. to 2 pm.
See what’s involved when preparing and serving on the food side.
Talking about and assessing the level of catering
you would be comfortable with.
Day 4
Your Day
Having now covered most aspects of running a bar, together with the first hand experience gained of running a bar you will now have the undivided attention of Michael & Karen for as long as it takes for you to tell them what else you now want to know and to discuss how you now feel about buying a bar in Spain.
If you are still interested you can now discuss the type of bar that
you feel will suit you. What sort of a bar you could expect from your budget and the type of living accommodation you would want and so on…….
Should you have warmed to the experience and now want to take the next step, lets go to Day 5.
Day 5
Having discussed your Budget & Requirements Michael & Karen will now be in a position to have assessed what maybe suited to you.
Armed with this information they will now endeavour to show you what bars or restaurants come into your bracket and will take this day to show you several establishments of real interest.
COST
The cost for this opportunity of Try Before You Buy is:
€150 (approximately £100:00) for a group of up to 4 people with a 50% discount
for those who went on the ‘Bar Training Course’
FOOT NOTE
Accommodation can be organised beforehand if required.
It can also be arranged for you to be collected & returned each day to your place of accommodation.
